27 March 2010: Sarawak Plantation Berhad (SPB) donated RM5,000.00 to "Pertubuhan Kebajikan dan Pendidikan Pelajar Miskin Sarawak (PEKEPPEMS)" at a "Malam Seribu Kasih" dinner and prize giving ceremony organised by PEKEPPEMS. The event took place at Sarawak Golf Club in Petra Jaya, Kuching. SPB was represented by its Group Managing Director Haji Mohamad Bolhair Reduan, senior management staff and company executives. The guest of honour at the event was Mr. Robert Laing Anyie, the Political Secretary to the Chief Minister of Sarawak and the Chairman of PEKEPPEMS Mr. Ahmad Haji Razali. During the function SPB's Chief Financial Officer Haji Bolhan Berawi went on stage to give prizes to deserving students and also to receive a certificate of appreciation from the guest of honour.
